Best of Britain Tours ('the Company') agrees to hire to the customer ('the customer') the vehicle and guide upon the following terms and conditions:

1. A non-refundable deposit of £50 is payable at the time of booking to guarantee the tour date(s). The Company will issue a detailed confirmation of the booking. The customer is responsible for checking the details contained in the confirmation and for bringing any errors to the immediate attention of the Company. For one-day tours the full cost can be paid in advance or alternatively the balance can be paid at the time of the tour in cash GBP (£ Sterling) or Travellers Cheques (Checks). For tours of two-days or longer duration, full payment is due 4 weeks before the tour starts. Payments must be made in GBP (£ Sterling) and can be by international Money Order, Electronic Funds Transfer direct to our bank, or certified bankers draft. If you are already in Britain, cash is acceptable.

2. We can not guarantee that you will see everything listed in the tour circumstances on the day, such as closure of attractions without notice or unforeseen major traffic hold-ups may prevent this from being possible.

3. Cancellation Charges:

Less than 7 days       50% of the agreed fee
Less than 48 hours    100% of the agreed fee

4. The car is fully insured and has a Public Carriage Office licence. However, whilst every care is taken, customers' personal property is carried entirely at their own risk and no responsibility can be accepted for loss or damage thereto. Customers are advised to ensure that they carry adequate holiday cancellation, medical and other travel insurances.

5. Smoking is not permitted in the car.

6. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult

These Conditions of Hire do not affect the customer's statutory rights.
