Best of Britain Tours is me - John Renshaw. I am a fully qualified Member of the Institute of Tourist Guiding and a Licensed Driver Guide.

I was born and raised in a village near the Peak District of Derbyshire (Britain's first national park) but have spent the last 35 years living in London. My interests are varied and include British history, photography, country walks and every aspect of London.

I am a professionally qualified Blue Badge and City of London guide and was awarded a prize for being the "Best Tower of London Guide". For the past two years I have served on the Executive Council of the Guild of Registered Tourist Guides. I have bags of enthusiasm, energy and a keen interest in people and places.

From the moment I pick you up at your accommodation we can fine-tune the tour to suit your requirements. We travel at a pace that suits you, staying for as long as you require at any location or attraction. By car is far the best way to see London or the countryside - you get to see much more than a set tour bus tour where you spend half the time waiting for others!

Whilst on tour nothing is set in stone. I will discuss with you in detail the options and routes available on the day based on your requirements.
